Benefits of the update

Developed in close collaboration with health and care professionals and user experience specialists, the update follows best-practice design principles to improve navigation, accessibility and overall usability. It aims to save time, reduce clicks and make key information clearer and easier to interpret – supporting quicker, more informed decision-making. 

Key improvements include: 

  • A new intuitive navigation bar – Quickly access key areas such as results or current medication with fewer clicks. 

  • An improved summary page – View essential information at a glance. 

  • Enhanced layout and visuals – Clearer colours, improved iconography and multi-column views to display useful data (such as allergies and medications) side-by-side. 

  • New information tiles – Highlight key details relevant to your role at the point of care. 

Alongside the new interface, the update also introduces several functional improvements designed to further support clinical safety and efficiency: 

  • Blood results – Can now be sorted and filtered by collection date. 

  • Pathology results – Improved display and additional filtering options. 

  • Medication view – Enhanced clarity and accessibility of prescribing information. 

  • Time-stamped data – Clearly indicates when a record was last updated. 

  • Timeline view – Shows patient and clinician activity in date order. 

  • Improved help facility – Direct links to user support and documentation. 

  • Enhanced security – A new Web Application Firewall (WAF) helps keep data safe and secure.
